The approach.

Recovery Laboratories started with a surgeon looking for more natural ways to support the body through recovery. Dr. Tyler Smith, MD, led the formulation work. Ryan Clyma, our founder, built the production behind it.

That promise is only as good as the process behind it, so we keep the process in our own hands. We source the ingredients, keep each supplier’s certificate of analysis on file, and manufacture in our own facility in Auburn, California.

Dr. Smith led the team that developed the formulas. Ryan Clyma turned them into finished products, sourcing the ingredients and collecting each supplier’s certificate of analysis.

The full recipes are secured in CAROL (Beta), our in-house lab inventory and production system, where only authorized administrators can view them.

We source active ingredients from qualified suppliers who document what they ship. Every shipment arrives with a certificate of analysis, and each lot is recorded with its supplier, country of origin, and lot identifier before it moves to inventory.

Every ingredient arrives from its supplier with a certificate of analysis: the supplier’s test results for that lot. Some come printed with the shipment. Others we download from the supplier. We keep each one on file.

Manufacturing happens in our own facility in Auburn, California, tracked end-to-end through CAROL (Beta). Every finished pouch traces back to its production batch, its input lots, and the original raw-material lots.
